Loved the slow atmosphere. Very chilled out. Near enough to walk to stMartin or hire bikes and cycle there in minutes. Really lovely staying in the outdoors. Pool great too. Bar with restaurant was handy, tastefully decorated and clean. Reception super helpful, thank you!

Everything you needed there. Nice beds for kids upstairs. Nice outdoor seating for dinning and deckchairs for relaxing.
Mould around the leaking shower- we complained as it was a lot of mould with fur not just spots. Bathrooms could be bigger not sure what larger tall folk do about squeezing in there.

We had a lovely week at Slow Village Ile de Re, it's a beautiful site with activities for all the family. The facilities were all great with the pool area and the tennis & padel courts (which we made good use of!) all well maintained. The staff were all really friendly and polite and ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, a great place to stay!
There was only one thing... The neighbouring campsite over the road had loud music playing a few evenings which rather intruded on the otherwise tranquil ambience of the site. So not a criticism of Slow Village at all, but also something they probably can't do anything about.

The restaurant is beautiful and food is good but the service is unacceptable. We waited 2 nights almost 2 hours on our food. With two small kids. And . . We ordered pizza.....should have been there in 20 min max. The staff is kind but very much understaffed. This needs a solution as many people were bothered about it.

We had a lovely time at Slow Village, very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic pool, great location and plenty of space and peace. There was a good range of activities if you wanted them. Also plenty of amenities nearby, 5 min cycle to boulanger and two supermarkets which was very convenient.
Although the food was excellent generally, there was a lack of variety ( there's only so much fried food and pizza you can eat!) also the menu didn't change unless there was a soiree night. It would be nice to have some different lunch/breakfast options, somewhere to get a coffee in the morning would be great.

Plenty of space around the cabin, clean and functional, in a lovely setting.
We would have liked to have a kettle in the kitchen. Also fans or air-con would be very welcome, it wasn't super hot when we were there, but it was still hard to sleep as it was hot and stuffy in the cabin even with windows open.

The cabin needed a bedside table which could be made easily like the other furniture in the cabin. The edges of the cutout around the upstairs beds should be sanded as they scratched our child's legs.

La gentillesse du personnel.
- Je paye une prestation pour une piscine chauffée : elle est froide, (nous avons été informé dès l'accueil) mais cette prestation est dans le prix .... - Le fait qu'il n'y ai que des rideaux occultants, notamment dans la chambre à coucher fait que la lumière est allumée souvent car mon intimité n'est pas respectée si les rideaux restent ouverts. Ecologiquement ... bof - Concernant le restaurant, il faut diner de bonne heure si l'on veut espérer avoir le choix. Super slow burger ! - Proposition aux ados de faire un loups garous un soir. Finalement, c'était à eux de chercher d'autres jeunes.

les canapés ne sont pas confortables. Aie aie aie les fesses après avoir fait beaucoup de vélo. L'extérieur, notamment les tables, chaises et transats : J'ai du tout nettoyer. La hauteur de plafond "à l'étage" est bien trop bas pour des ados.
