A great site, with great facilities, views and lots of local places to hike and cycle. St Pierre de Chartreuse is pleasant town with good small supermarket & boulangerie. The pool was great !

Wir haben uns auf dem Campingplatz sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist, trotz Nähe zur Straße, sehr ruhig und in perfekter Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil dort und hatten einen ausreichend großen Stellplatz. Generell sind die Stellplätze großzügig angelegt. Allerdings sollte man Auffahrkeile dabei haben, da die meisten Plätze sehr uneben sind.

We had almost ohne week of holidays with our 4 and 6 year old children at martiniere. The hosts are very friendly. There is a great restaurant at the campsite with tasty food. The swimming pool is great. The view in the mountains is impressive and the hiking tours in the surrounding are great for Kids. Everything wonderful

it was difficult to get cash. In Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, the cash maschine had a malfunction. We did not fully understand waste separation. We didn't know exactly where the organic waste belonged.

Thank you for your post. We don't understand wery well what you mean by not ecological about the place of chemical toilet, but don't worry it is drain directly to sewage treatment plant. For somebody who seams very concerned by the ecologique question its very strange to be not happy to have not the possibilities to use air con especially at our altitude (1000 m). Warmly Brice&Céline

We loved this place, my son had a great time playing only a stone's throw from our mobile home, and made lots of new friends. The home was super clean and met all our needs, and the office and play areas (including some really great activities like 'big wooden games' and lazer shooting) were close by and there was always someone on hand. All the used games and books were great, and the croissants were excellent.
I got the impression that the owner didn't like people rolling up to the Atelier restaurant without a reservation. I could be wrong (my French isn't great), but if they would prefer people booking for purposes of ordering produce/ fresh ingredients (I'm guessing here), they should make booking mandatory or at least make the rationale clear on their signage. Getting the cold shoulder at dinner time wasn't the best way to find out! Also it would be great if they could start offering composting in addition to all the other recycling facilities - It's a shame to throw food waste in the bin.

Hello, Thank your for you post, for your visit this summer and for your rating, we remember you very well. :-)) For the restaurant it's just because we don't have a lot of places inside. When it is cold, we place inside people who booked. For people without reservation we let them the choise to eat outside or going to the village. About compost we install one for all the camping next year. It was already done for a long time for the restaurant and now from 2 years a breeder come every day to take off food waste for his pigs.
