Busy site but really quiet. Excellent facilities including spotlessly clean washrooms. Lovely pool and great things for children to do. Great cycling immediately next to the site
Pitches could have been a bit more level and the €10 euro booking fee could have been added to the starting cost. Don't know why it's separate as other campsites don't seem to do it

Pitches were a little uneven. As we were only staying one night we weren't going to spend ages trying to level the van, but others had used ramps .

A great site with really clean toilets and showers. Good size pitches, some in shade some in sun. The pools looked good we didn't use them as it wasn't warm enough for the outside pool and we were only there 2 nights on our way home. Restaurant food was good and there were plenty of polite staff around to serve us. The huge lake is very close with lots of cycling areas.

Campsite was busier than expected but still quiet and calm. Large pitch well separated from neighbours. Very clean sanitary block. Handy to have shop and restaurant on-site.
More toilets would be good as there was occasionally a queue, especially in the morning.

The establishment
For us, proximity to the lake and cycle path, within a tranquil and scenic region, were the biggest attraction. The site itself is attractively laid out, with an emphasis on informality, emplacements blending in with trees and bushes. Pools and other outdoor activities are imaginatively designed and discrete rather than dominant. Reception is welcoming, the shop is small but well-stocked, and the restaurant deserves its popularity. The two sanitary facilities are well located, though differ in quality.
The sanitary blocks were both satisfactory in what they provided, though one was clearly newer than the other. The ‘inferior’ one needs updating if not rebuilding, to become less ‘open’ some visitors (like me) were willing to walk the extra distance to benefit from better facilities.

The slope on our emplacement was much greater than could be compensated for by our levelling ramps. Maybe we could have asked to move to a more ‘level’ pitch, but we were there for only 3 nights and, from what we could see, level emplacements are at a premium.
