The establishment
We were here in April/May for the apple blossom season and were back to see the apples ready for harvest. We loved the site in spring when it was quiet and almost empty; and when it was almost full in September it was still quiet and peaceful with a delightful ambience and lovely, friendly neighbours. And the key factor that makes this site almost perfect - the constant presence of Raphael and his team, caring for every aspect of the buildings and grounds, always with a smile and always with concern for our well-being. We'll be back, soon I hope.
We set up a bit near the hen house, which could be a bit noisy and a little bit smelly - but that's hens for you, and we really liked their presence.

I personally felt the restaurant menu was not like before and a lot of the food on it was not for my taste But that is just a personal thing to us Also I felt the beer selection again not to my liking so we would have used the restaurant every night for steak etc but only used it three times over 11 nights

We couldn't ask for anything better. The place is amazing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Our pitch was perfect with a view over the lake. The extras on the premium pitch where chairs, table, bbq, fridge. All very useful. The toilets and shower block very clean. We used the pool and that to was very clean. There is a shop with local produce. Which was very handy. We had a beer in the cafe in the afternoon and ate in the restaurant. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The site is also very eco friendly. I would highly recommend this site.

This is a well located site for Deauville etc , easy to locate good wide entrance, host was extremely friendly and spoke good English ,pool area was clean and tidy with the heated pool Pitches were an excellent size but a few were uneven but loads of room around each pitch and some had a view of the lake

We were welcomed like family at this beautiful campsite, and the pitch was perfect close to the chateaux and pool with plenty of space. The owners were fun and the staff did everything to help with our stay. The eco shop stocks great products you might need, including Gluten free beer! The pools were clean and we used the newest of the shower blocks near the restaurant which were great. There were gluten free options to eat and the pizza was fab. We came with a 6 and 12 year old and they both loved it, especially feeding the animals and board games. We'll definitely be back

As ever a perfect haven of tranquility, really enjoyed the move from salon to cafe area in respect of the live music.
The cafe; whilst both meals were good, the menu is very much geared up towards vegetarians. It would make a big difference if a couple more meat dishes were added....

Great food at a reasonable price, music night was outstanding with guests taking part as well. Restful - Peace and quiet can be had and animals can be good fun. Helped us with a late arrival due to a ferry breakdown.

Convenient for facilities, quiet erc
Some guests seem to use non low voltage appliances (Kettles\Toasters\Hair driers) as our 3 way fridge would not operate in the mains supply during the day via the electrical hook up. Not the sites fault and not a problem with our fridge as it is working ok where we are now. Not sure. What can be done but some guests perhaps need to be more considerate towards others and use low voltage appliances.
