The canoe rental is right on the campsite, plus there were two wine tastings of local wineries happening on-site, the restaurant has a nice menu, the pitches are really spacious.
A few hedges or other to keep the pitches separate and allow for some more privacy

The establishment
Stayed mid-August 2024. This is a lovely site, right on the Loire. The beach is great for the kids. Services are good, the staff are helpful and the pitches are good. Easy bike ride along the green-way/ bike paths to Saumur, or to other nearby towns in the opposite direction. Would definitely go again, and recommend to others.
I know it's intentional but for us Brits, no toilet seats and no toilet paper is still a challenge!

Had a pitch near the riverso the sunset was gorgeous. Ample size and nearby electricity hook-up. Some shade from trees. Easy access.
See above, although it didn't spoil anything. Long queues to take food orders on the night we went. Didn't affect us because we ordered early and the food didn't take too long, but some were queueing for quite a while to order. Don't know if it was because there was a band on.

The location is both STUNNING and practical for exploring. Perfect for relaxing by the sunset and an early morning swim. Relaxing and regenerating.

We came by bike and were welcomed by helpful staff. The camping has a large area for pithing tents. There is also a nice beach where one can swim ("at their own risk") - a real bonus on a hot summer's day. In the evening there was wine-tasting and we ended up buying a bottle of white from the region. The breakfast basket was excellent.

The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The camp site is quiet, clean, tidy and well maintained. The pitches are spacious, many with a lovely view over the river. There's easy access to the river path. Good recycling facilities, including composting vegetable waste. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 4 days and would gladly return again . Thank you to the staff who made us feel very welcome

The establishment
Great campsite with very friendly owners and staff. The location was ideal for cycling along the Loire river. The pitches were a very generous size, so you did not feel crushed in. The bathrooms were spotless, and very well kept. After travelling onwards, stopping at other places, we soon appreciated how great it was to gave access to clean bathrooms, Their bar served food until late into the evening, and the staff there were lovely, Excellent communication via email when we had questions before booking. A great site, the next time we come to France, we will book a longer stay.

A perfect start to our holiday. Fab campsite on the banks of the Loire. Very peaceful and extremely friendly and helpful service from all on site. We hired bikes for the day and cycled to Saumur for the day. Great breakfast delivery service and a wonderful steak at the snack bar. All in all, a pretty perfect place.
