We arrived about 8pm after a long cycle and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had food. In fact they prepared a pizza for us when thenkitchen was actually closed. Breakfast was excellent too.
The booking.com description of a 'bungalow' turned out to.be a lot more basic that we had assumed. Confortable, but very basic.

It is important to note that our region has recently been affected by floods which have disrupted our usual cleaning routine. It is complicated to do maintenance when we have people on the ground. (hedge trimming or lawn tractor) We would also like to encourage you to report any unsatisfactory situation during your stay. This allows us to intervene quickly and improve your comfort on site. If you do not warn us it is complicated to act. We cannot be behind each person in the toilet block. The gentleman on reception was so helpful with advice and the entertainment/bands were great. Considering there were lots of children the site was quiet and the pitches were a great size.
I think the showers, toilets and wash areas could do with cleaning more and toilet roll constantly ran out.

La Loire à velo
Le prix d'un simple emplacement velo randonneur sans électricité est cher. Pas réellement de prestation accueil velo rando. Pas d'endroit prévu pour la recharge des portables, hormis squatter les sanitaires ! Pas de tables de pique nique à disposions. Bref rien n'est spécialement prévu pour les randonneurs de la Loire à velo (ou à pied) qui voyagent léger malgré le prix !

Not a good start to our stay. Misleading information regarding arrival times with Reception only open 10-12 and 3:30-7pm. 55 minute wait to check in due to 1 person on reception and queue of people arriving expecting to be able to check in between 9-6, as on website. Pitch was very rutted and sloping. The facilities were good, clean and well maintained. Small snack bar seemed ok. The area itself is very nice and walkable into the town. Only a 2 night stay which, under the circumstances, was enough. We would visit again but make relevant changes e.g arrival day and time and choose pitch

Our greeting on arrival was friendly and welcoming. We were checked in smoothly and shown to our pitch. We met the owner at the C&C club exhibition he suggested we try his site. We are so glad we did. Nothing was too much trouble, we were offered wine tastings, knowledge of the area. The region around the site is lovely with much to see and do.
