Lake nearby, helpful staff. We liked the food stall/food truck. Nice area for walking and cycling.
Very noisy at night, some groups were making noise until the early hours of the morning so very difficult to sleep :-(

Forest, lake, beach, live music, toasting marshmallows, hammocks, local beer on sale, food truck, breakfast ordered through reception, family friendly. Around the lake you can do a few different activities like woodland walks, cycling, paddle boarding, crazy golf.

One night to break up our journey home.
Lack of any useful items in the site shop meant I had to drive to the super-U. Our dog wasn’t allowed to swim anywhere in the lake - not the site’s rule but it would have been useful to know that beforehand as we specifically chose the site for its proximity to the lake so our dog could cool down after a long car journey
