'd Orta lake is beautifull and not that busy as for instance lago Maggiore. Great area, many things to see and do. Good restaurant behind the camping.
The mobile home is somewhat out of date and some things were broken (parts of the fridge, toiletseat). Too many rules in the swimming pool.

We've had an enjoyable vacation at Camping Royal. The personnel is very friendly, I really liked the bar with the beer from the tap and the possibility to order bread until late in the evening.

The porch was very nice. Also the shower was good. Good thing it has insect screens! It was a cosy mobile-home, the airconditioning was also something I really liked.

Rapport qualité/prix Sanitaires anciens et peu esthétiques mais fonctionnels et très bien entretenus (dommage que les campeurs ne le respecte pas toujours ...) Emplacements bien délimités par de la végétation, bien entretenus aussi. Personnel très sympathique et efficace. Bravo à tous, surtout par les chaleurs qu'il y avaient.
Terrain en pente, accès caravane sur les emplacements pas forcément aisé. Branchements électriques trop faibles : la bouilloire fait sauter le fusible à chaque fois, nous avons abandonné, pas essayé la plancha du coup ... Pas de la faute du camping mais faire rappel des règles de bonne conduite à tous: campeurs bruyants au delà du raisonnable en matinée avant 7h00, en journée, en soirée ( passé minuit et jusqu'à 4h du matin une nuit pour un emplacement "permanent" ) ... Le ou les chiens du terrain adjacent au camping qui aboient pendant des heures
