The campsite is beautifully laid out. Claire and David who run the campsite are the kindest people, always available for questions or a quick chat, and well aware of everything there is to discover in the area. The restaurant offers a very simple menu, but with enough variation to make it feel like there is something to choose, even healthy options.
Some of the pitches are very close to each other, and the bathhouse can use a bit of an upgrade, but neither of these points managed to spoil any of our enthusiasm about Camping River.

The mobile home was clean and proper. A bit smaller than other common Mobile Homes on other campgrounds - yet good for accomodation of a group of 3 motorcyclists and their gear. The porch is a nice feature allowing to enjoy the stay outdoors (weather allowing)
The wam water heater failed sporadically and needs some fixing. Understandably on a weekend - a plumber was not available. No doubt that the owners will get this fixed.

The campsite is lovely. Very clean fascilities: toilets, showers, sinks, the pool, the campsite itself. The owners surely make their guests happy. The food in the restaurants is tasty, and having a sundowner at the terasse right next to the river is a perfect finish of a happy camping day.
