Ideally located in the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, at the foot of the famous Canigou, the campsite Les Portes du Canigou is a little wonder that quality. In view of the numerous works undertaken on the campsite, (new rentals, restoration and animations) the new owners hope for this first season 2020 to obtain a third star quickly.

Quite place with no dogs. Toilettes were clean and working fine.
Pitch was hard to nail with pebbles and stones and not clean either. No Catalan language spoken!

Good sized level pitches, with water. Electric available too, although we did not require this.
Debris falling from the trees at this time of year, but there is nothing the campsite can do about that. It is nature. It means regular cleaning of awnings & ground sheets. I did see staff clearing the debris from empty pitches. A never ending job at this time of year.

The accommodation was wel equipided. We chose to use our own air beds, in stead of the bed in the mobile home, as we are used to. Camping is near very different hikes (first drive by car). And the beaches at 50minutes drive.

No trobo correcte que s'hagi d'abandonar l'establiment a les 10.00h. Aquesta és una pràctica molt comú, però gens favorable, donat que s'hauria de tenir en compte l'hora d'arribada el primer dia, i el lloguer complir les 24h/dia a partir de l'hora d'entrada

Le confort de la climatisation réversible appréciable avec la chaleur élevée même en fin de journée et la température agréable de 20° au réveil à 5H. le Bangalow est très bien entretenu dù à la rigueur de Céline ?? et de la Technicienne de surface ??
