We just wanted a short stop to break the journey to the Dordogne, the ACSI write up was promising and the area seemed interesting. We stayed three nights, we were tempted to stay longer and will certainly return. It’s a nice village right beside the Loir river with so much to recommend it. Moreover our campsite is fenced and access to the public path are by gate ! Generally people like to be near a gate to go along the river. You should have asked me to change if you do not want it ! A great little site. Large sites with electricity. The toilet and shower block was very clean. It was nice to site outside the bar on an evening to enjoy a drink. However, the takeaway was limited to pizza, burgers and nuggets. There is a large municipal swimming pool very close by (although we didn't take advantage of it. The site was quiet even though there were young children staying there! We did enjoy our stay and returned on our way back for a coke of days.I N.B. The washing machine and dryer were the most efficient that I have ever used on any campsite in France !!

we stayed for 4 nights and although it was one of the hottest periods this year, the site was peaceful and easily accessible. The managers were polite and helpful. We had a caravan but liked the way there were tents, chalets and different types of accommodation. Very pleasant outlook on the quiet river (though we were there for Bastille Weekend and a field opposite had a band until 2am Sat evening. haha
We did not like how the toilets were so open and that there was no way to dry hands when using the sink (no towels or dryer). Also no seats on the toilets which we now know to be common in France. And on the hottest day of the year the swimming pool was closed - as it was a monday.
