Family campsite with swimming pool situated between Dax and the Atlantic surf beaches & 20 miles to the north of Bayonne. Well placed to visit the Landes and Basque country and only 40 miles from Spain. Heated pool with water slides. A well equiped sports ground gives oportunities to play football, basketball, badminton and volley ball. During the months of July & August the bar is open along with its 2 pool tables and there is often entertainement during the evenings. Entertainment for the children was adequate, simple pools with 3 small slides but good with a nice temperature. Cleanliness of facilities superb. No shopping facilities on site, but there is a supérette and boulangerie not far, 5 minute walk and 2 large supermarkets within 10/15 minute drive of the campsite where you can buy almost everything and anything you need. .
The bar itself could do with improving, better choice of drinks, more glasses, especially to suit the drinks ordered..
Reasonable size to accommodate an 8 man tent and our car, plug in nearby and adapter lent by the office if needed. Not too far a walk to use the on site barbeques.
