With in a radius of 20 km you can discover many cities and villages that are rich in history. Come to visit and explore the “saumurois” via a bike ride, the hiking, or even try kayaking on the Thouet or the Loire.

From the moment we arrived the service was second to none, the reception staff were welcoming and efficient and knowledgeable about the area. We had drinks and food in the restaurant, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was good. The amenities were very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we'll be returning soon.

Lady at reception, on our arrival, kindly asked if we would prefer her to speak in French or English and spoke French at our request. The others at reception always changed to English upon hearing our poor French. We like to practise our poor French!!!!

Lovely site in a beautiful town . Staff very friendly, good restaurant on site and super swimming pool . Amenities clean . A campsite where you can relax in lovely surroundings . A short walk into the town and castle and lovely walks a cycling routes in the local area . We will be back soon .

The reception was very friendly and efficient. The pitch was a very good size and pretty level. The sanitary facilities were excellent and kept spotlessly clean. The restaurant was very good both the food quality and service. The location is very beautiful with a great selection of local walks and cycle paths. The friendliness of all the staff was very good and was a particular high point.
The pool was very well managed and clean although unfortunately I found it too shallow in most parts to be able to swim. I can understand why it is this way to provide a safe environment for the children but it would be nice to have a more swimming friendly pool available too.
