Good sized pitch with hedging for privacy. The pool was a lovely area to chill and cool down. Great to have large rotary line available for washing. The restaurant on the other side of the water was friendly and served good food, it looked lovely at night lit up.

Really helpful staff, always willing to help with any questions we had. Loved the morning bread deliveries! Boys loved the inflatables, kayaking & pool. Very clean facilities & plenty of cool shaded space around the Pagan. Really handy to have BBQ. Added bonus having the village so close as we had no car.

Hidden away in a little tree enclosed valley, the site boasts two small lakes and a surprisingly good restaurant, also patronised by the locals. One lake is dedicated to the fishing enthusiast but the other has small canoes in one area and inflatables and swimming in another. There is also a lovely separate small spotless swimming pool with loungers and toilet. There are a choice of pitches some with views of the lakes which you can walk or jog around. Despite being tucked away the WiFi reception is excellent. The area that opens out around the lakes gives a feeling of space.
The steep hill down into the valley is a bit daunting whatever way you tackle it.

We chose a partly shaded grassy pitch within 2 minutes stroll of sanitary block and the pool in the opposite direction. You can place a bread order the day before and it will be delivered to your pitch.

We had a lovely week here in August, friendly campsite and nice owners. Everything clean and proper.. We loved the lakes, Great Lake walk for the dog and a fab swimming lake for us... loved it, we didn’t want to leave, would definitely visit again.
