The campsite is unbelievably idyllic. It’s safe for the children which means it’s relaxing for the parents! The owners run it extremely well with attention to every detail. The bar is lovely (happy hour is a favourite with mum!) and the vezere, the river which runs across the bottom, is beautiful. A day canoeing trip on that provides excellent views of the valley.
The fact we had to go home
The tent was superb. It managed to retain a camping vibe whilst having numerous luxuries, including running water, which was a first for us having previously used different accommodations. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious (mine especially) and the veranda offered a superb view on the night when there was a thunderstorm

The camp is with history, celebrated 50th year on 2017, well developed and continuously striving to be more pleasant
Interestingly, the use of chemical toilet discharge was 2€. Should be free for campers
Long trees make good shade
Some guests/pets are trespassing the others’ pitches. Camp should be more clear on privacy

Fantastic pitch next to the river. Beautiful planting around the site. Not too big, never felt crowded. Staff all very helpful. Great location in the Dordogne, close to so many things to see. Great swimming pools, everything spotlessly clean. Perfect.
Only one choice for vegetarians on the restaurant menu, but this is not unusual in France, and we didn't really expect anything else.
Amazing location right next to the river. Tent had everything we needed. Lots of seating outside. Comfortable beds with warm blankets for everyone.
I can't find anything to dislike

We loved the location, the pool, the river, plenty of activities.
The only downfall for us was the location of the pitch. We were located right next to reception and it could get very noisy. We were awoken both mornings.
Nice pitch

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely welcome on arrival, and the lady in the laundry room was so cheerful and helpful. Beautiful and well kept site with stunning plants and flowers. Spacious pitch, with good degree of privacy.
I would have preferred segregated toilets with separate areas for men and women, but I was happy with communal showers and sinks.
Much bigger than expected, we have a big motor home and there was plenty of space for awning and sitting out. There was always shade and sun so we had the choice of where to sit. Great privacy too.
Please could you get rid of the term OAP COUPLE and replace with MATURE COUPLE! We are 61 and 57, and don’t regard ourselves as old age pensioners! But sadly we can’t any longer describe ourselves as young couple any longer.
