The establishment
we were looking for a campsite near Carcasonne and found this lovingly maintained and beautiful place. You can go to town by bike. The owners were very friendly. Also not for sightseeing we could think about staying longer with the kids in summer.
Unfortunately we spoke no French and the reception no English. But it worked anyway. The little bar was closed, but we were early in the season.

Great little site. Very convenient for Carcassonne. Nice quiet area. Shaded pitches which were great in the very hot weather. Seems like the owners are making improvements as and when they can. Lovely swimming pool. We would stay here again even though there are some improvements that need doing. Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much.
Some things need updating - dishwashing facilities, some showers/toilets, but there is a newer block that is fine.

Lovely position, backing onto the donkeys field. Lots of shade.
The electricity connection was very dodgy - it needs replacing soon. It didn't look safe. We had a water point on our pitch but it was shared with the connection to fill the donkeys trough. We didn't feel this was very hygienic so got our water elsewhere. We paid slightly more for this but it wasn't a lot so didn't worry too much. We did make sure the donkeys had plenty of water! It didn't put us off staying here.

Etwas ab von Carcassonne kann man von hier aus den Canal du Midi und die Cité von Carcassonne sehr gut mit dem E-Bike erkunden. Die Plätze sind passend, schattig und es lohnt sich, Keile dabei zu haben. Sanitär ist sehr sauber und in gutem Zustand, wenn auch in die Jahre gekommen.

Agréable petit camping avec une belle piscine et bon accueil .... avec une note artisanale des propriétaires ... On ressent les éfforts fournis pour la propreté malgré certaines instalations un peu veillissantes tel les sanitaires communs . J'aurai apprécié dans notre mobil home des matelas un peu plus confortables, un télé ( en cas de mauvaise météo ) et un grille pain ! Comme je m'en suis confié à Malorie , un bel accès regoudronné sans les trous et racines de la route serait un vrai plus ...donnant une meilleure image pour l'accès au camping ...mais le souci d'une copropropriété...
