In the south of France, with the foot of the sites of the 'Col du Tourmalet' (Turn of France),'Cirque de Gavarnie' (UNESCO) and Lourdes you will find a convivial camp-site, with quality-label, raised, quite flat, apart from the road traffic with recent equipment, for campers liking space and peace. Near the footpaths, we will advise you on the ballades and the multitudes of lakes to be discovered, in the national park of the Pyrenees, in the car or with foot. On leaving Lourdes follow the road ... which twists and turns between moutains and valleys up to the « pays Toy », the « valley of light ». Like the points of a star the roads branch out from Luz towards the valleys of Barèges and Gavarnie. The ski stations of Barèges, Gavarnie and Luz Ardiden offer quality skiing slopes, there are also legendary sites to visit such as the Tourmalet, the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (from which one can explore the stars) and the « cirques »,of Gavarnie, Estaubé and Troumouse which form the frontier between France and Spain

Cleanliness was great, staff were really helpful. Lovely shady spots under the trees. Easy walk to nearby town and a great base for cycling.
Few additional toilets would be helpful when the site is full.
