Site was amazing. Great pitches at an awesome location.
Could have let us know in advance that snack bar etc would be closed during our stay. We assumed that as the site was open until the end of September then everything else would be. even offer reduced openings in the last month - don't shut it completely!

Lovely clean amenities, great proximity to beach, sunsets were spectacular. All the staff were so lovely and welcoming, thank you!
Seemed to be no rules about noise after midnight, meaning some campers were still playing loud music and shouting until 2am on one occasion! We were so tired each morning because of this.

Really clean, hedges make the pitches nice and private. Good size campsite, easy to get around and not too far to the pool/shower block/shop from any pitch.
We were moved to a different pitch on arrival which was smaller than the original one we were allocated, so it was very tricky to get on/off the pitch with our caravan, as it is very narrow.

The layout of the site was very pleasant and accessible to the beach. We were in the mobile home but had family on the tourers. Whilst tge were opposite they were the other side.we could see them but had to walk all the way round. A middle access point (walkway) would be useful. Not for our convidnce but for others who we heard say it would be good to be able to cut through to the pool or bar. A few more indoor facilities would be good for rainy days

Layout of the pitch and decking with the palm trees was very pleasant. The home was nicr
Was unhappy that there wax no oven and kettle. Without other family members on the site we would have been stuck. As far as we are aware we were not even notified of this. These a basic items in the UK. Microwave wax too small for meals particularly without an oven.

Always lovely staff. It is in a really good location, with some nice shops and local markets during the week. Having the fishmonger onsite once a week along with the pizza truck is great. Access to the beach from within the campsite is excellent. This was our 4th year coming to Le Grand Large.
The Wifi is really very expensive and the area has poor GSM reception - normally not a problem, but can be inconvenient for checking attractions and weather forecasts etc. Not a major problem.
