A lovely spot by the river. Very friendly and helpful owners. Possible to cycle to Rocamador.
It would be helpful to say that there is no grey water waste facility for camping cars, then we could have emptied on the way.

This is a small and very friendly site with everything you could wish for, pool, bar, restaurant and access to the river . Our three grandchildren loved the pool and playing in the river . It is very safe for kids , we sent our little girls to collect the bread every morning. We had a 3 bed lodge which we thought was very good value . For money. There is plenty of shade under the walnut trees which is needed as it was very hot . We had a great time overall and found the staff friendly and helpful
Our children spent most of their time in the pool and on the river with a paddle board. They did not want to leave the site ! We only left one day for an excursion . You can really relax

There is enough space and a nice big terrace. It suited our family very well and we would book again
The accommodation was a bit ‘tired’ . Some small investments would make it a lot more pleasurable. For instance the old wooden picnic table on the terrace is uncomfortable and should be replaced by a more modern dining set. Many of the kitchen utensils and old and worn out . Eg Broken scissors and one badly stained chopping board that looked very unhygienic. These days there should be separate chopping boards for meat, fish and vegetables . It would not cost much to upgrade the lodge amenities and I would be happy to pay more for this as the location is wonderful and our family loved it .

A family run site that is charming. The site is surrounded by nature, the grounds well tended and the pool is lovely. Plenty of natural shade for pitching or relaxing by the pool. Toilet facilities were spotless, cafe bar area for refreshment. Excellent value too, would recommend.

Plenty of space for a tent and my pitch was in shade much of the day. I particularly enjoyed going for a dip in the Dordogne each morning, the river is easily accessible (see photo).
