The establishment
We loved that the site was ecofriendly, quiet and all the staff were extremely helpful. The facilities were good quality and clean and there were lots of activities for children, although our grandson (11 years) was too old for some of them. The surrounding countryside was very attractive and we found lots to do in the area. We visited Bibracte Archeology museum which was well presented and interesting for all of us and the Lac des Settons which was beautiful and again had lots of activities for old and young! All in all a memorable stay!

The pitch was shady, under trees, and quiet. There was plenty of space between us and the neighbouring pitch. We were at the far side of the site from reception and the main facilities but there is a toilet block close enough.
There was no toilet paper in the small toilet block.

Emplacement spacieux, sans vis à vis, au milieu des arbres et au bord d'un petit ruisseau ravissant.
Notre emplacement était légèrement en pente ce qui a rendu les nuits difficiles et le terrain était jonché de monticules de taupe. C'est l'inconvénient d'un emplacement nature et c'est impossible à améliorer ;-).

A quiet peaceful site in a beautiful countryside setting. Lovely days out by car to explore the Morvan Regional Park. We visited Lac de Pannecière. Beautiful views from Mont Beuvray (Bibracte) and a day trip to Autun amongst others. Having a fridge rental was really useful as shops were a drive away in Chateau-Chinon and Moulins-Engilbert.
Swimming Pool was too warm for our liking (sign said 29C but it felt much warmer). A few lights at key points around the site would make walking around at night easier when going to the toilets. Maybe upgrade the small 2xtoilet hut near the lake next so campers have more options and don't need to climb up to the poolside or reception sanitary blocks. A few more safe steps would be helpful when walking up to the reception area. No WiFi on site and pretty much no phone signal on site made planning our outings difficult. Thank you to reception for booking our final restaurant outing!

The site is compact and has everything you could wish for, but the main selling point is the friendliness, helpfulness and willingness to go above and beyond for it guests. everyone of the staff from the receptionist, bar and restaurant staff, cleaners and even chef were amazing making this one of our most enjoyable and relaxing weeks away.

It is nice accommodation that is well maintained and gave us a comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but well equipped. it was so much easier and more comfortable than taking your own tent. the location of this lodge is ideal and we enjoyed looking out over the lake of an evening.
there is no real space for your clothes/luggage and so we had to leave it in suitcase under the beds. I would consider booking a larger lodge if this would be an issue for you.

Très bon accueil, chaleureux. Cadre très calme, les patrons sont à l'écoute et de très bon conseil pour les lieux à visiter. Je recommande fortement cette adresse. Nourriture fait maison, un vrai régal. Un des plus c'est d'avoir son pain le matin sur place.

Des activités, des soirées organisées, du calme, des emplacements spacieux, une piscine pour se rafraîchir, le tri des déchets. Et bien sûr une équipe serviable et compétente (animateur sur le podium : mon fils connaît enfin sa gauche et sa droite !)
+ de panneaux au sein du camping pour davantage signifier aux vacanciers irrespectueux l'obligation de rouler à 10 ou 15 km/h (assez angoissant avec des enfants) ; le manque de respect de la part des vacanciers concernant les activités/jeux mis à disposition (pas la faute du camping, mais tellement dommage)
