The establishment
The Ocean chalet we stayed in was excellent - well equipped and maintained. The beds were comfy. The site is well cared for, has an excellent swimming pool and we were able to hire bikes. The camp site is located not far from the town and there are great places to walk and cycle from the site. The owners were very helpful.
It became apparent that it was the end of the season and the site was being slowly closed down for the season. There were very few other people on the site - which wasn't great for the teenagers who enjoy meeting new friends. It would have been useful to know this in advance.

The deck was spacious and allowed us to eat our meals with friends. It was well equipped.
The cabin whilst cosy did have a design flaw in terms of letting in all the bugs, especially mosquitos - right above the bunk where my son slept. It would have been useful to have an insect screen behind the clear door for both privacy and to keep the bugs out.

The karaoke night on Friday was very loud - the rest of the week was lovely and quiet but this went on past midnight. As a one-off it was fine but would be better if it finished at 11pm.
