Apart from the quality of its wines, history will remember that Domaine de Massereau was the first campsite in France to be classified 5 stars.
A top-of-the-range campsite with quality rental accommodation and wooded and spacious camper plots, some up to 200m². Some pitches are decorated with a premium option including a refrigerator, a plancha, a wooden storage chest, sun loungers, a picnic table and unlimited Wi-Fi access throughout the establishment!
As for accommodation, there are wooden h...uts and chalets for nature lovers, but also three ranges of modern, comfortable and refreshing mobile homes!
Come and discover a water park for adults and children: heated and covered swimming pool, fun pool with slides and paddling pool, and the novelty a balneotherapy pool with solarium, water jet and jacuzzi! To fully relax, adults can go to the spa with sauna and hamman, to be completed with a massage session: Coline offers more than 8 à la carte massages!
On the edge of the Garrigue, and near the banks of the Vidourle, the Roc de Massereau adventure park is one of the major attractions in the area. You can lounge on a private beach, canoe or stand up paddle on the river, or have fun in the treetop park that crosses the premises. With these 17 different routes, a total of 220 platforms in the trees as well as 50 zip lines, it is one of the largest parks of this type in the south of France!
Want to walk around? The campsite has direct access to the Voie Verte, a 2km cycle path towards the town of Sommières and 25 km towards Caveirac with an almost compulsory stop at the Junas quarries and the 3 Calvisson mills!
Wine lovers: take note that several times a week, a guide invites you to visit the vineyard, its facilities and its vineyards. A visit which obviously ends with the traditional and essential tasting session.
Located in Gard, between Montpellier and Nîmes, the campsite benefits from an ideal location for exploring the region.
27 kilometers from the campsite, the city of Nîmes is a must for tourists who love art and history who stay in the vicinity. Its numerous vestiges dating from the Gallo-Roman period are worth a visit, like its arenas, its Maison Carré, its temple of Diana, its Magne tower or its Augustus gate.
Just as important as that of Nîmes, the historical heritage of the department has many treasures, such as the famous Pont du Gard, the most famous of Roman aqueducts in France or even the medieval city of Aigues Mortes, located a few steps from the seaside resort of Grau du Roi and the Mediterranean
