We are coming to Briange form several years already, we always feel very welcome. We like the quietness, the environment, the facilities, the pool and the very friendly owners.

Les Cades is somewhat remote from the rest of the camping is has a lovely open view on le mont Ventoux and wide grounds surrounding the cabin where you can play games, take a sunbath or read in the shade of a tree. The cabin has everything you need.

On a vraiment adoré ce camping très naturel et écolo, on a surtout apprécié les grands emplacements délimités par la nature, la verdure autour de nous et la belle piscine et terrain de jeux pour enfants!
J’aurais préféré avoir plus de toilettes ouvertes, 2/3 toilettes « normales » (pas sèches) ça a parfois dérangé

The campsite is well equipped. The pitches and chalets are well spaced out. A lovely pool and good food at the restaurant. Very calm and friendly atmosphere.
The WiFi is very slow and only available at the bar. The entrance from the road is tricky - not easy to see oncoming traffic particularly when exiting.

The position was very good - well away from the nearest chalets. Plenty of space and mostly well equipped.
Our chalet had a few problems with a leaking water heater and there was a leak in the small room during a very heavy storm. There was also a problem with the lighting over the kitchen area but using our own lights this was okay. The water heater was replaced the day before we left.

Very friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good restaurant with fresh bread in the morning. Plenty of activities (kayaking, hiking, caves, villages) in the region. The shared fridges are very useful. I would definitely choose this camp site again if we return to the Ardèche.
Some elements (herb garden, labyrinth, outside dishwashing place) seem a little worn down.

Shady camping pitch and communal fridge
From the look of the website we expected a quiet camping (“no noise after 22h”), but we were close to the playground where the whole day, every day, until 22.30, children screamed and yelled at a volume where it’s impossible to have a normal conversation, let alone read a book. We have told this at the reception but there is no one who controls this. Children playing is fine, of course, some noise too, but then don’t tout the quietness of the place. Toilets and showers were old and dirty, and there was no hot water for 2 days. We expected more for 40 euros per day and would not recommend.

The pitch was big enough and shady thanks to the trees. Lots of space between pitches. Great pool, beautiful terrain.
Being right next to the road (and as far away from the playground as possible) made the place somewhat dusty. Also the children playing loudly after 22.00.

No sunbath beds, chairs or anything to put you stuff or relax at the pool. Sanitar is a bit basic/dated, therefor it looks not as tidy as it could be.

Due to a storm electricity was not working when we arrived, but is was fixed withing a day. I can't think of anything further
