Late September so very quiet, lovely lake for swimming and sports. Excellent area for cycling and walking with nice towns nearby. Washing machines were turned off but was allowed to use the one at reception. Nothing too difficult for the staff. The pool was open but spent most of the time on paddleboards on the lake. Watersports facility over the bridge for kayaks and pedlo type craft. Most pitches are level and private with a few chalets/large caravans. Would definitely revisit earlier in the season if not the same time period.
Mosquitoes but we had a great view over the lake and thats nature for you. A more user friendly motorhome service point for black and grey waste. I had to drain the grey tank into a container to get it to the drain.

Motorhome 2 berth Reliable electricity, good water pressure for filling motorhome tank, good sized pitch for motorhome, trailer, motorbike and drying two paddle boards. Generally level with small ramps used. Shrubbery around each pitch made it very private and protected from the wind. We were able to sit out but spent most time down at the lake.

Stunning location with pitches close by the lake. Large expanse of water to explore by swimming, kayak & paddleboarding (you can hire equipment). Kids loved the water inflatables. Staff were friendly and the restaurant served lovely food. We will be recommending it to friends and plan to return for longer next time : )
Nothing really. The mini golf could do with some maintenance as it was very difficult, or maybe we are very bad at mini golf!

Shower blocks very dated and need bins at each block as the only ones are opposite reception which is quite a walk away. Also needs more chemical disposal points as only one available on site and it was a long way from our pitch

Hello Madam, We're sorry you were disappointed by the lack of garbage cans in the toilet blocks: we've since fitted all the toilets with small garbage cans for your convenience. As far as chemical toilet facilities are concerned, we are currently looking into the possibility of installing an additional bollard to facilitate emptying, but this will not be in place before next summer. We have a new clientele of motorhome owners that we didn't have before, and we need to adapt our service offer accordingly. Steps down to toilet block need repairs urgently very dangerous as one step almost non existent level of cleanliness not good rubbish outside toilet facilities whole time we were there and shower block just quickly hosed down. Walk way through to toilet block very over grown. Generally poor maintenance and cleanliness for campers.

We received a warm welcome to the site and had everything explained really clearly too. The pitch was fabulous, large, electicity and water really close, good view over the lake, not noisy and not too far to the facilities block either. The beach, lake, restaurant and pool all made it even better.
The toilet blocks were really clean so we had no problems using them, but they are a bit tired in places and could do with being freshened up.

The pitch was large, level and flat which was ideal for the 2 tents, including a sun shade and the car without beng crowded at all. The water and electricity was very close too. We had some shade form the trees at parts of the day which was also a great relief.

The staff were very helpful in making our stay welcoming and helping to find out local information.
The vintage caravan was a little tired, with small repairs undertaken in fixing handles inside the caravan, making sure smoke alarm work, and removing / replacing decking, trimming back rambling hedges would have have been a benefit.

Pitches were off good size which had lovely green hedges giving boundaries. Had good tree shade at some points of the day. Electric weren't a problem, didn't trip.
I was a little bit disappointed that games room and restaurant was closed by the swimming pool but understand why following recovery after covid.

Proximity to the lake is fantastic, walking distance to 2 bars that offer food and drink. Enjoyed the relaxing stay.
Cleaning of the toilet block was done far too early in the morning and caused a disturbance.

Great sized pitch with plenty of room. Electricity worked fine and water also. Access was good for a motorhome of almost any size.
I was surprised that no toilet paper is supplied considering the price of the pitch. Walking to the toilet block with loo roll in hand is not the best look. I know it's camping but little things make a huge difference. The hedges and some trees need trimming. Overhanging branches on pitches can cause damage to motorhomes or caravans.

Dear John, Thank you for your appreciation of our lovely lakeside campsite. We have a great location which allows you to enjoy the natural surroundings of the lake, the snack bar and the English pub nearby. Our sanitary blocks are cleaned twice a day and we pay particular attention to these areas. The first cleaning is done at 8am and this is usually not a problem. Regarding the toilet paper, we had to remove it because of the lack of civic-mindedness of some campers. We are thinking of putting it back in the future, but we will have to change the whole distribution system to "sheet by sheet" to avoid waste... For the moment we need to develop our accommodation and entertainment services. We have taken note of the "little things" to improve, thank you for your feedback. Le calme du camping au vert
Camping qui aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement au niveau sanitaires et un bon coup de peinture. Transat piscine très usagés. Pas assez de réglementations au niveau piscine..... Baignade en short de bain ? Pas de douche obligatoire avant. Camping très vert ce qui est très agréable et ombragé... Le personnel très sympathique accueillant et très réactif au moindre petit soucis. Je reviendrais avec plaisir.. Mes deux petites filles se sont éclatées entre la piscine et le lac. Merci pour ce séjour.
