The Camping de Barolles is a campsite in France situated half way between Paris and Marseille. The site is located in Saint Genis Laval in the Rhône (69), to the south-west of Lyon (7 km), close to the A7 motorway (approximately 5 km). Very easy check in and very friendly and helpful lady at the desk. The lady gave me guide of how to get to the city and then highlighted various landmarks and directions to get there. Pitch was perfect for our stay. We had a nice evening walk down to a leisure park and had a lovely dinner and game of bowling. Will definitely stop here again.

Cheap camping, its clean, good camper spots. Close to the center of the village. Its a perfect camping for a short get-a-way and for a passing by to your final location.

The girl at the reception was very nice. Trip to Lyon by bus is easy.
The rest was horrible. Dirty showers, very dirty. And more a camper spot than a campsite. No fence or what so ever. Did not feel very safe.

We have been in this camping several times. A good and easy stay to our way up north (or down south). We have stayed three days some time ago to visit Lyon. The camping crew helped us to plan our visit to the city and also informed us about the best way to get there using public transport. Clean toilets and nice people around. We'll stay again for sure!
Possible agreement with local facilities (swimming-pool, sports, ...) with premium rates for camping visitors.
