Arriving at Camping de La Gartempe, in our motorhome (camping car) we had a problem with the gearbox. Rang the RAC and the next day they collected the MH on a recovery truck. During this time Virginie (owner) understood our predicament and opened up one of the sites chalets for us whilst waiting for diagnostics. The MH was taken on Wednesday and we were informed by the RAC that the garage was unable to look at the MH unti the following Tuesday!!
Everything, for this time of year (December), was to our expectation.

The pitch we only user for the night until MH collection. The chalet had all the requirements, and heating, for an unplanned stay.
WiFi could be a bit more reliable, especially trying to sort out repatriation...

Our pitch was excellent and quite private. The shower facilities and toilets were very clean. The site location is very pretty.
It’s a pity the restaurant wasn’t open as I’m sure that would have been a hit.

L'atenció és excel·lent, fent sempre l'esforç d'entendre'ns encara que el nostre francès no és massa fluïd. Les parcel·les són molt grans, a l'ombra, i l'entorn és tranquil i preciós. Un 10 per la família que porta el càmping! Els nostres fills han gaudit molt de les animacions matinals, divertides i motivadores. No volien marxar!

Le Cottage est confortable pour les 4 personnes que nous étions.
Le principe de faire soi-même la check liste du matériel disponible du chalet n'est pas très accueillant. Le réglage d'eau chaude de la douche est difficile.
