Location in the centre of Vendôme, facilities exactly as advertised. Near to the amazing Centre Nautique! Staff are friendly and helpful, working hard to keep everything in good shape.
Noise from the road might bother some but we were fine with it.

Camping in comfort. All the simple pleasure of life in the open air without the hassle of packing a tent and all the necessary equipment. Don’t forget bedlinen, tea towels, washing up liquid + dishcloth and a spare loo roll (plus hand soap).
A few wall hooks to hang things on would be convenient. The double bedroom is cramped but manageable. For the price we had no complaints.

We have been here Three times now over the years and the previous two times have been as a stopping point going further south or back north. This year we decided to make Vendome our main holiday destination as it is a great little town with lots nearby. It’s a great little campsite with everything you need - the couple that run it are very friendly and accommodating and we would always stay here if we need a stop over and we will definitely be returning . It’s very clean, very well run and you are left alone to do your own thing. Highly recommend it for a long stay or as a pit stop.

Adequate for what you need - you can cook and the sleeping accommodation is nice. Most of the time we spent outside anyway. Wash up is done in the nearby block, as is showering etc. showers a clean and water is a good temperature.

We booked for 5 nights but ended up staying for 10 nights as it was such a lovely site. We had a wonderful pitch overlooking the river. We enjoyed the site's great location near to the town and easy access to the Velo de Loir cycle trails.
Very minor issue of no toilet paper in the toilets.
