The establishment
Pools were well maintained and inviting. Bar glacier staff friendly.
Don't advertise that out of season is 'lower prices same facilities' when it's not! Food outlets were either closed or only served pizza, supermarket shelves were bare as not restocking, fresh food was mouldy and same items still on sale for the duration of our stay. Couldn't book excursions as tourist train not operational after Sept 1st. We were charged different prices on different days for the same items in the supermarket and did not receive the €1 refunds on our drinks glasses for two nights.

Pitch was a nightmare to get in! Too close to toillet block wall; there was a tree in middle of pitch which determined further how you were able to park up. Wooden gazebo and table lovely size but couldn't use it much due to the wasps and rain. Eater and electricity points at different ends of the pitch.
Pitch very dry so when it rained everywhere it flooded. Some form of roof covering would be good especially on rainy season. Toilets and showers stopped being cleaned so often after Sept 1st, just twice a day checks and on one day just once so they became quite dirty and smelly

The website said stay out of season and enjoy all the same facilities at a lower price. This was not the case. Half the food outlets where closed. The onsite shop was closed half the day and was not replenishing stock. Fruit and veg going off on shelves The sanitary blocks where not properly cleaned as most of the staff had left. We left the site a day early as we were disappointed. Not the value for money we expected

The campsite was superb, spacious plots, lovely helpful staff, facilities Inc pool, restaurant, take away, etc were all excellent. . A stones throw from the beach and a lovely 5-10 min gentle cycle ride to the centre of Argelès Plage. Not a usual nice topic but the standard of cleanliness of the ablutions was fantastic, there was always someone cleaning them 24/7!
Some more general info on all local attractions and places to visit etc for the non French speaking guests to help plan would ensure that ignorance didn’t mean a n attraction or locale was missed.

The establishment
We love Camping Le Soleil, this was our 9th visit since 2010 when we first came with Eurocamp. We love the site, the proximity to the beach and the town plus the relaxed camping lifestyle. The accommodation was excellent as well, and great value for money. See you again in 2025 :)
The only slight disappointment was that the takeaway food was limited (pizza only) - although we did use the Bar Glacier for snacks

Lovely site with beautiful vegitation. Pool facilities great. Shop great. Lovely access to beach. Mobile really clean and well equipped.
Please allow us to rent towels/tea towel Very wasteful having to buy towels and throw them out as no room to bring home. Doesnt make sense that the 3 beds get towels and the 2 beds cant even rent them. The check out was too early and annoyed me. I had to get my young child up at 7.15 on her holidays and then the coffee shop isnt open to even have a breakfast. Even 8.30 would be acceptable. I dont think it is fair to get young families out of accommodation at that hour.

Wifi was spotty and not available in our cabin. We had to walk few feet to get signals. Sheets were small.and could not fit the bed. Too close from an another amusement park opened until 1 am and so noisy until 1 am

The establishment
This is my 5th year in Argeles and 3rd at the campsite - I love the staff the layout the access to the beautiful beach and variety of the places for entertainment, drinks and food. Overall I love the place.
Check out cleaning inspection times are too early and the cleaning instructions with or without paying for it seem cumbersome but perhaps it’s the translation to English - having to spend time cleanign doors and showers seems counter to a holiday but I appreciate the mobile needs to be left in a good condition - I clean as I go along but others don’t I suppose.

I love it and it is perfect for my needs. My site 1323 was my favourite. However I would love the option to have a kettle and dishwasher. Perhaps a premier Maury package with those and towels.
Towels for showering and for drying dishes are not provided- this should be an option as we came by airplane and we are limited with luggage. I am prepared to pay extra for towels like you pay for sheets.

I had been there with my younger brother in 2022 and took my grandson in 2024. He is 13 and I loved ( so did he) the facilities for him: pools, basketball court etc.... Place is very clean, employees courteous when you need information.
Internet service is HORRIBLE: you have to go next to the snack bar in order to get any kind of reception so when you rent a mobile home which is on the other side of the camp , it's not exactly convenient for a 73 year old.

Mobile Homes are a tight squeeze even the Collioure which is the largest. AC is good and so are the linens. We were 4 and a second frying pan would have been nice as well as a toaster.

The whole family had an excellent time there. Great pool, table tennis. Bouncy castles, playground and football field for the kids, friendly staff everywhere, shop on site stocked all the essentials at good prices, possible to hire a gas grill (30 Euros for 1 week for the smaller size one, sufficient for a family of 4). Nice bars and a restaurant. Entertainment every night but it was still nice and quite when sleeping. Five minute walk to the beach. A really pleasant atmosphere overall.

Everything clean and modern, perfekt for 4 people (but I don't think it would be for 6), even has a small lounge area, toilet is separate from the shower room. We really felt very comfortable there. Nice terrace. There is even a clothes dryer rack and pegs.
Wooly blankets supplied as duvets, no sheets or pillow cases, but was okay as we asked about this beforehand and brought them with us and sleeping bags too. Pillows are quite big (60x70 or even 80x80?); personally prefer 40x80. No kettle, no toaster. These are not really complaints but just to inform. We really loved our bungalow.
