We loved this site. The staff, the pool, the layout, cleanliness - we were very happy here.
A shop with some basic supplies would have been good! The town is about a 15 minute walk away which can be a drag if the kids aren’t really up for it, and if you have a camper van you may not want to move it once set up.

Lovely campsite. We arrived at the end of the season so the site was very quiet. Just the way we like it. Fishing lake on site was great. Fished it 3 times and the best result was about 30 carp and 20 small roach all in just over 2 hours.

After 6years of being away it was great to come back to the site, this time we brought our children and they loved the site and we didn't see them much as they were having so much fun. The team as always we great and so welcoming even after us not going for so long. I have been coming to this site for over 20years and every time it still feels like home. Thanks Patrice and the team for all you do and done, we will see you next years

Nice pool, large campsites with privacy and comfort, quiet area, close enough to visiting sites in Normandy.
The sanitary block further up the campsite is a bit older (missing toiletseats). And to bins in the womens toilet need a lit.

The pitch was perfectly flat and airy. It was great to have so much space for the tent. Having a private shower, toilet and wash-basin felt luxurious and having access to our own fridge and kitchen sink was very helpful. No traipsing to the communal wash areas. Site is spotless and staff are charming and friendly.

The establishment
It’s a beautiful, quiet and family friendly site. Staff are friendly and very helpful and speak English. The facilities are all kept wonderfully clean, pitches are huge and the pool and slide are wonderful . This is not a big site which is why it has such a wonderful ambience about it. Access is easy and close to Cherbourg. Pretty small fishing pond.
Showers need an overhaul. Some press button ones last only a few seconds and others are longer. Some give a dribble and others are a very fine spray. Water needs to be hotter for pot washing , especially at the end of the day.
