Campsite 4 stars, between ocean (10km), lake (500m) and forest, 1,5km far from the village,25km far from the chateaux of the Médoc and 60km of Bordeaux. Everything! The area around lake Hourtin is perfect for exploring by bicycle, paddle boarding And surfing in the sea. There are great local villages to visit and the markets are filled with local specialties and frequented by locals and tourists alike. The campsite is run by a passionate family determined to make it the best experience for everyone. The staff are great and keep the site beautifully clean. The weather is always great and you would be unlucky to get more than one day of rain in ten.

Good sized level pitch with ample shade and sun. Lovely neighbours. Toilet blocks meticulously clean. BBQ sites and water easily available. The campsite is very well placed between Hourtin and Hourtin Port. Great cycle tracks stretch for miles through the forest and the area is clearly well maintained and well loved by those who live in the area. The campsite reflects well on the excellent and friendly staff.
