Camping La Garenne, owned by a Dutch family, is a medium sized family campsite with 136 pitches, partially laid out in terraces. Situated halfway the ‘département’ Ardèche, between Valence and Montélimar, it occupies a particularly sheltered spot at the entrance of the beautiful Eyrieux Valley. The campsite is only a short stroll from the village center of Saint Laurent du Pape, and is within easy reach of the A7/RN7 and RN86 (15 minutes from the A7). The surrounding hills offer ample opportu... nity for lovely walks, cycling tours for racing bicycles, or car rides. For commuter bikes and mountain bikes there are the Dolce Via and the Via Rhôna, two beautiful flat cycling trails, the one along the Eyrieux river, the other along the river Rhône. In July and August, we offer you a varied activity and entertainment program for all ages. In Mai, June and September, if you feel like it, you can participate in pétanque competitions, guided walks, excursions, wine tasting, etc. In conclusion, we’d like you to know that we speak English. In 2003 en 2004 hebben wij met onze kinderen (toen jong) met onze oude vouwwagen op La Garenne gekampeerd. Dit jaar zijn we met onze kinderen (nu 23 en 29 jaren oud) in het kader van nostalgie terug geweest op La Garenne. Er is veel maar ook niets veranderd. La Garenne is een leuke camping waar ik me meteen weer thuis voelde. Een camping waar graag nog eens naar toe wil.

De Safaritent met privé sanitair is een luxe onderkomen. Is aan te bevelen.
Ik kan niets bedenken wat ik niet leuk vond aan La Garenne. Het was na veel jaren weer een genoegen om hier te zijn. We kennen de camping en de omgeving (de markt in La Voulte). We zijn naar het Indian Forest en La Neuve geweest. Het was voor ons een "tour nostalgie'. We komen nog wel een keertje terug.

Leuke veilige camping. Fijn zwembad, leuke bar waar je wat kan eten.
Jammer dat in de tweede week van ons verblijf de camping leeg stroomde. Het was erg stil. Helaas niks te doen in de nabije omgeving. Om wat te ondernemen moesten we al snel 30 minuten rijden.

De plaatsen waren mooi gesitueerd
Sanitair was vies, werd maar 1 keer per dag schoongemaakt. Animatie niet voldoende en niet gericht op kinderen ouder dan 10/11 jaar. Zwembad werd ook steeds viezer. Zijn uiteindelijk eerder weggegaan en hebben een andere camping geboekt.
