Camping La Garenne, owned by a Dutch family, is a medium sized family campsite with 119 pitches, partially laid out in terraces. Situated halfway the ‘département’ Ardèche, between Valence and Montélimar, it occupies a particularly sheltered spot at the entrance of the beautiful Eyrieux Valley. The campsite is only a short stroll from the village center of Saint Laurent du Pape, and is within easy reach of the A7/RN7 and RN86 (15 minutes from the A7). The surrounding hills offer ample opportu... nity for lovely walks, cycling tours for racing bicycles, or car rides. For commuter bikes and mountain bikes there are the Dolce Via and the Via Rhôna, two beautiful flat cycling trails, the one along the Eyrieux river, the other along the river Rhône. In July and August, we offer you a varied activity and entertainment program for all ages. In Mai, June and September, if you feel like it, you can participate in pétanque competitions, wine tasting, etc. In conclusion, we’d like you to know that we speak English. Large pitch.
Was not clear where to get fresh water and drain grey water. Very different to what we are used to in the UK.. Didn’t like the rule about Lycra trunks in the swimming pool. My husband has many pairs of clean swimming shorts which he only using for swimming, so they are very clean. Seems to be a very strange. ‘Hygiene’ rule.

Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit dans ce camping mais avons été agréablement surpris par l’accueil charmant des propriétaires qui nous ont proposés de faire courir notre chien dans les emplacements inoccupés après une longue journée de voiture. Les sanitaires sont agréables et très propres. Le paysage autour du camping est très beau.

Camping op twee niveau's: onderin een groter terrein waar vooral mensen met jonge kinderen stonden. Vlak bij zwembad en speeltuin. Boven wat meer doortrekkers. Boven was een stuk rustiger ook, vonden wij ideaal. Super fijn zwembad, echt perfect. Groene camping, ruime plekken en overal drinkwater tappunten. Vlak bij een bakker met heerlijk brood, al kan je op de camping ook brood bestellen. De bistro serveert elke avond een vaste maaltijd, we hoorden positieve geluiden hierover. Een probleem met alleen gelaten honden werd adequaat opgepakt. Fijn!
Prima camping maar we vonden de schoonmaak van de toiletten boven qua intensiteit te wensen over laten. 3 toiletten voor vrouwen en 3 voor mannen met behoorlijk intensief gebruik en dan twee keer er dag schoonmaken, vonden we weinig. Rook regelmatig naar urine. De douchehokjes zijn echt klein in het boven gebouw. Voor de wat vollere medemens is aankleden hierin niet te doen. Samen douchen met een kind is ook lastig met deze ruimte. Wij vonden de camping behoorlijk prijzig. Daarentegen; als je vooral op de camping blijft en gebruik maakt van de activiteiten, is het denk ik ok.

Redelijk vlak. Best veel bomen op de camping dus ook schaduw. Groen zag er goed onderhouden uit.
Wij waren met een vouwwagen. We hadden nu alleen de luifel aangezet. Voortent met luifel had niet gekund. (Plek langs het pad). Auto moest op de plek staan, maar met een vouwwagen en twee kleine tentjes was het ook aardig gevuld al.

Staanplaatsen waren ruim en mooi gesitueerd. Bad en toilet ruimte zeer schoon en netjes. Receptie super ontvangst., kreeg zelfs een fles wijn omdat ik vergeten was om via ACSI te boeken, nog nooit meegemaakt.
Dt wij maar 1 nacht geboekt hadden. Wij stonden op plek 6 schaduw en zon.

Lekker rustig gelegen camping. Ook de gasten waren rustig waardoor het lekker ontspannen was zowel aan het zwembad als de kampeerplaats
De WiFi is echt niet goed ook niet vlak bij de receptie. Water van de wasbakken in het sanitair is niet warm
