: To NOT stress on the way we advise you to take these directions with you because even with your Satnav it might not be easy to find. Best way is to put _St Christophe_ in your sat nav.
The bumpy road in the forest leading to us is now called” Chemin Rural de St Christophe” and since there’s only us we are number 1. You turn on this little road coming from « Route de Woinville ». This is the D119 between Saint Mihiel and Woinville.
Coming from Woinville: In the small village of Woinville, take direction Saint-Mihiel at the cross roads, this is a road going slowly uphill. Follow this road that leads you through the forest and at the top, just continue and when going down again you will pass a very large turn right. Right after this turn the road turns immediately left and IN this turn left you will see a little road at your right going into more forest with a big stone at the left and a big one at the right to mark this place and a little sign saying “famille Priester and Saint-Christophe”. Well: this is it, take this road, bumpy and muddy as it might be and follow this for approximately 1 km. When you think: this cannot be it: it’s just right! After 1 km you will be surprised and see the cloister! Well done, just follow the signs to the parking place.
Coming from Saint Mihiel: Follow the D119, direction Lac de Madine and/or Woinville. You are leaving the village and follow the D119, you will see some fields and cows, and later a sign « Parc National de la Lorraine » just continue, you will slowly go uphill. You will pass
« the Marsoupe » (you will see a sign on your right, this means you are doing well) Continue and look at your left next to the road, you will find little signs with the kilometer numbers. Just continue uphill and watch these...after the one with a 6 on it, get ready: a bit further you will have a large turn to the right but IN the turn you will see a little road going into the forest with two big stones on its left and on its right: take this little road , bumpy and muddy as it may be, because this is it! On the way you might really think that this can’t be right, well this means you are almost there! After 1 km you will be surprised and find the cloister. Well done and now just follow the parking signs!
Satnav- Tip: Fill in Saint- Mihiel for city/village, but for “road” you put only Saint Christophe!
