In 1998, Louis & Nathalie Blanco successfully anticipated the shift away from mass tourism towards a demand for making a clean break with daily life in exclusive, innovative settings.
With their firm, Bocages, these pioneers in the authentic holiday experience have invented a new sustainable tourism offering, developing concepts that combine accommodation close to nature with first-rate hotel services.

Domaines de Campagne
This concept was based on developing human-sized 4-star Tourist Residences in completely unspoilt natural sites. These residences, very similar to the concept of eco-lodges, are aimed at harmony between humans and nature, underpinned by the foundational principle of the wellbeing of the whole family. Les Domaines de Campagne®, which are environmentally-friendly in terms of both construction and operating procedures, have been actively committed to the principle of sustainable development for over 10 years.

Roulottes de Campagne
By offering innovative accommodation which harmoniously combines Bohemian charm with the highest standards of comfort, the Roulottes de Campagne® concept, which is quick and easy to set up in the countryside, has proved to be a genuine revolution in rural accommodation. Its design and originality places it firmly in line with the consumer trend of nomadism (increasing numbers of short stays, exploring new areas, the desire for different surroundings, getting back to basics, etc.) whilst meeting their need for both authenticity and comfort. Built to be both mobile and capable of being easily dismantled at the end of its life cycle, each gypsy caravan preserves the natural environment in which it is erected.

Carré d'étoiles
'Carré d’étoiles' – a cube featuring a bold architectural style - embodies a new slant on “getting away from it all” tourism.
It’s an invitation to rediscover the world of sleeping outdoors - with innovative, pioneering accommodation.
Built to be both mobile and capable of being easily dismantled at the end of their life cycle, Carré d’étoiles units can be set up anywhere.

Cube City
This concept is aimed at improving the supply of student accommodation, which is now an economic and social necessity. This solution is environmentally-friendly and reversible, in line with sustainable development.
Cube City® accommodation is completely safe, fully equipped with all facilities and uses space to the best advantage. It includes all the necessary functionalities in a minimised living space, providing fittings which are just right for villages housing students, young workers, seasonal workers or sportsmen and women.
